Brake/Clutch Pedals and Booster/Master Cylinder Install

Pedal Assembly Install

I used the brake/clutch pedal assembly from a 1990 Senator B. It has the clutch master cylinder attached to the pedal arm. With the bellhousing set back into the drivers compartment, the pedals needed to be moved to the left so there would be enough clearance for the gas pedal

The old pedals were removed and the battery box area trimmed. Two pieces of sheet stock cut to fit on either side of the firewall. The wheel well needed to be massaged a little for the clutch pedal travel.

The 2 panels were sandwiched around the firewall for strength and the pedals mounted.

Brake Booster/ Master Cylinder

The Senny brake booster was too large and would have interfered with the intake so I opted to use a 7 inch dual booster/master cylinder assembly from a street rod shop. It has a one inch bore M/C and came with a brake proportional valve. The inner fenderwell was trimmed to clear the brake assembly and the booster mounting bracket cut down.

Pedals Installed
The hydraulic clutch was hooked up and a Lokar floor mounted gas pedal will be installed once the tranny tunnel is in place.
